This release presents, for the first time ever on CD, the complete original Shelly Manne album The Proper Time (Contemporary S7587) by the legendary Shelly Manne sextet with Richie Kamuca, Joe Gordon, Victor Feldman, Russ Freeman and Monty Budwig. The LP features the music that Manne composed for Tom Laughlin’s film The Proper Time.
