This edition presents the Berlin performance by the 1969 Miles Davis Quintet with Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea, Dave Holland & Jack DeJohnette, for the first time ever on CD.
The band toured Europe from October 26 to November 9, 1969 ( The Rome and Copenhagen performances by the same group can be found on our companion release Gambit 69330 2CD set). In his autobiography, Miles would state that this group was "really a bad motherfucker".
