Safe & Sane, the third joint album from saxophonist Jim Sauter and drummer Kid Millions, sees the talented duo eschew the tight, clipped structures of their previous efforts and instead opt for fiery, elongated jams, with billowing sheets of sound that extend over more than one side of vinyl at a time.
