Honest Jons once again delve into the rich tapestry of sounds that have emerged from modern Nigeria - afrobeat, highlife, afro-funk, juju, apala and waka. 'Lagos All Routes' continues in the same vein as 'Lagos Chop Up' , though in this instance the title refers to how although much of the music on the compilation originates from all over Nigeria, it is inevitably filtered through the urban heart of Lagos which bore witness to a huge explosion of music from the 1960s through to 80s. A wonderfully diverse selection from Honest Jons as usual.
