On the debut album by Sunborn (fka. The KutiMangoes!), the psychic Danish sextet dig deep into the contours of the improv form and the hybrid electronic-jazz live jam, asking - what connects us as human beings?

Meeting the world and connecting through music has been a vital mission for the band from day one, and Sunborn - channelling the fact that humanity is united under the same sun - once more aims thematically to bridge the gaps between people and ideas of different backgrounds and cultures. Naturally, the sound of this album is instrumental and unhegemonic, reaching across stylistic divides for a shuffling, transcending collective grasp towards the celestial ball of fire that hangs up above.
