Toni Sola

Toni Solà´s new release will confirm his sharpness and talent after his first impressive CD "Natural Sounds". The language of "hard swing" holds no secrets for him. In the sessions we hear the Catalan tenor saxophonist jamming to the full extent of his rhythmic energies –his accent, mixing the blues and funky- and the reliable groove that characterize his style.
The collaboration with Scott Hamilton makes the reunion of these two so natural and intense that it immediately reminds the legendary tenor battles that Dexter Gordon engaged in with Gene Ammons and Wardell Gray.
