This splendid album, "Homecoming" (Mainstream, 1972), which appears here on CD for the first time ever, is accompanied by two rare Farmer items, which also make their CD debuts on this edition. Both were recorded on June 4, 1972, during the Heidelberger Jazztage Festival in Heidelberg, Germany and find Farmer playing with Danish bassist Niels-Henning Orsted Pedersen.
