Masa Kamaguchi, now living in Barcelona after 14 years in the New York scene backing Paul Motian or David Murray among others, is like the FIRE, pure mistic virtuoso of the bass. RJ Miller, one of the youngest and most solid, mature and tasteful drummers in the Big Apple playing in the Bill McHenry, Rob Stillman and Ben Street bands, is like the EARTH.
