While the title would have listeners believe that these sessions are of a piece, they are actually compiled tracks from the years 1976-1978, with four different bands and five different sessions -- including two in Havana. Some of the D'Rivera's associates on these dates include the Finland Jazz Combo, Chucho and Oscar Valdes, Arturo Sandoval, Emilio Morales, and Irakere.
