This release contains all of Jimmy Rowles' 1977 trio tracks, consisting of set paying homage to Miles Davis' Birth of the Cool nonet and appearing here on CD for the first time ever. In addition, includes Rowles' complete 1978 trio session, as bonus, rare solo track from the period and beautiful quartet version of " 'Round Midnight ".
