This release contains the complete original LP Ray Charles and Betty Carter (ABC Paramount ABCS-385), which marks the only existing collaboration between these two singing stars. It presents a collection of songs about lovers arranged and conducted by the great Marty Paich. Also included here is Ray Charles’ complete conceptual album Dedicated to You (ABC Paramount ABC-355), consisting of songs with a woman’s name in each title. It was recorded the previous year and was also conducted and arranged by Marty Paich.
