This release presents the complete original LPs "Cool Baker Vol.1" and "Cool Baker Vol.2", both of which compile an astonishing series of recordings made by Chet Baker in a quartet format with Russ Freeman on piano in the years 1952-53. Three tunes that complete the sessions have been added to the 22 featured on the two LPs, as well as a live version of “Russ Job” recorded by the same group the following year.
