This release presents two complete albums by the great Frank Sinatra, "All Alone" (Reprise R9-1007), and "Sinatra & Strings" (Reprise R9-1004). While the former showcases "The Voice" in the company of an orchestra conducted and arranged by Gordon Jenkins, the latter, which includes Sinatra’s finest version ever of Cole Porter’s “Night and Day”, features the singer backed by a string formation led by Don Costa. One song from the second LP’s sessions, which wasn’t originally issued on the album, has been added here as a bonus.”.
