MAP’s first album is a breath of fresh air in the Spanish vanguard scene; a serious and intelligent project in the hands of three young and highly promising musicians with quite some experience on their shoulders already.

The imaginative and original Ernesto Aurignac on alto sax, the greatly expressive pianist Marco Mezquida and the inventive and versatile beat of Ramon Prats on drums make for a solid and levelled trio with a lot to offer.

Touching on free jazz, popular contemporary music and free improvisation, MPA trio sounds like jazz in the wisest sense, captivating and immediate.
This band is an unimagined reality in the Spanish Jazz scene.
