This release presents two classic Pourcel albums from his Capitol period: "The French Touch" (Capitol T10103, 1958), and "French Wine-Drinking Music" (Capitol ST10229, 1959). Both LPs were recorded in Paris and released by Capitol for the American market. As a bonus, the Pourcel interpretation of the classic Cole Porter song “I Love Paris” from the original Broadway musical Can Can, which appeared for the first time on the third volume of his classic series Amour, danse et violons.
