This release presents a classic Pourcel album from his Capitol period: "The French Touch" (Capitol T10103). Devoted to socalled “mood” music, The French Touch was recorded in Paris and released by Capitol in 1957 for the American market only. As a bonus, we have included another two French-themed selections which appeared previously on his celebrated series Amour, danse et violons: “En Avril à Paris” & Cole Porter’s “I Love Paris”.
