A new CD reissue of the long unavailable sixth album by the Steve Miller Band, "Rock Love". Originally released in 1971 by Capitol Records, this album was recorded with bassist Bobby Winkelman (the only surviving member, together with Steve Miller himself, of the former band’s line up), along with players from Winkelman’s previous group, the psychedelic rock band Frumious Bandersnatch (which included Ross Valory – a future member of Journey – on bass, and Jack King on drums).

The album helped to rebound Miller’s sagging career at the time and, although it is not considered one of his best efforts, it offers a great retrospective of this legendary band before entering the mainstream circuit.
