Although they worked together intensively as members of the 1958-59 Miles Davis Sextet (also featuring John Coltrane in the frontline), Cannonball Adderley and Bill Evans only collaborated on three projects together without Miles. This release presents in their entireties the two small group albums: Know What I Mean? (Riverside R9-433) and Portrait of Cannonball (Riverside RLP12-269).
