In 1957, Miles Davis recorded the soundtrack to Louis Malle's French language noirish thriller "Ascenseur pour L'echafaud" ("Lift to The Scaffold") which stands as one of the most innovative albums in his entire career. It also informed "Kind of Blue" and resulted in all five selections being incorporated into various soundtracks, Miles In The Movies contains all this and much more.
