This quintessential release includes Gene Vincent’s sensational fourth LP, A Gene Vincent Record Date, originally issued by Capitol Records in November 1958, and long unavailable on vinyl. Although the album did not contain smash hits, it’s filled with lots of solid rockers and ballads in Vincent’s characteristic style.
In addition to the original album, this WaxTime collector’s edition contains 2 bonus tracks, consisting of hard-to-find-sides from the same period: “Lotta Lovin’” and “I Got It.”
