This quintessential LP edition includes Duane Eddy’s sensational first album for RCA Victor (after leaving the Jamie label), "Twistin’ ‘N’ Twangin’", originally released in 1962 and long unavailable on vinyl. Most of the songs on this funny long play have a similar beat and are tied into the twist craze, including Eddy’s original compositions such as “Country Twist,” “Twistin’ off a Cliff” and the title track, as well as covers of hits of that era, like “The Peppermint Twist,” “Let’s Twist Again” and, of course, Hank Ballard’s seminal “The Twist.”

In addition to the original masterpiece, this WaxTime collector’s item includes 2 BONUS TRACKS from the same recording sessions that were not included on the album: “Deep in the Heart of Texas” and “Saints and Sinners.”
