The veteran Catalonian Jazz Band, La Locomotora Negra, is celebrating its 40th anniversary. From its debut on January 31st 1971 until now, this group of friends and jazz lovers has grown to a Jazz Big Band of 17 musicians.

To commemorate the 40th anniversary La Locomotora Negra has compiles 19 of our songs into the album Moments. Rather than being an exhaustive The best of..., Moments is simply a diverse sampling of their musical journey over the past 40 years. Moments is a selection of songs from La Locomotora Negra’s past recordings, in an attempt at thanking all those who have followed them over so many years. If you are one of these people, this compilation is ideal for reminiscing; if you’re just discovering the world of Jazz, this will help you get started.
