The Boston concert presented here for the first time ever is an essential addition to Johnny Hartman’s discography. Includes 16-page booklet with detailed information and the complete song lyrics.

Taped from a radio broadcast at a Boston jazz club called the Merry Go Round on February 24, 1976, this is the first known recording of Hartman since his 1973 album "I’ve Been There". This releases also includes 9 bonus tracks (CD 2, #7-15) with Johnny Hartman accompanied by Roland Hanna (p) and George Mraz (b), recorded on October 13, 1977 at the Sometime Club in Tokyo, Japan.

With splendid sound quality, this 2-CD set includes his only known versions of "Bewitched", "Watch What Happens" and "I’ve Got To Be Me", along with his only two recordings of top hits "Feelings" and "The Way We Were", and his only other performance of Billy Strayhorn’s "Lush Life" (apart from the famous recording with John Coltrane in 1963).
