My Conception is an LP of top notch original compositions by jazz pianist Sonny Clark. The LP was recorded in 1959 but was first released in 1979. Clark assembled a crack team of hard bop supremos to back him - drummer Art Blakey, Trumpeter Donald Byrd, Hank Mobley on Tenor Sax and Paul Chambers on bass.
