Something of a game of two halves, this one. The fine New Orleans clarinet star Albert Nicholas had come to live in Europe and encountered the resolutely Crescent City-style English band of Bany 'Kid' Martyn while on tour in 1BS6. Their rather impromptu recording session took place in Brussels, the results issued on vinyl on record shop propnetor Doug Dobell's 77 label and here re-released with previously unheard extra material. . One for the collector and music lover!
