Three Italians and one American met in Catania (Italy) to record one of the jazziest albums. Francesco Cusa – drums, Brian Groder – trumpet, Riccardo Grosso – bass, Tonino Miano – piano.

With Human Pieces, Tonino Miano delivers an album of kaleidoscopic glow. A sound that is both intensely electric and intimate, and that is not afraid to constantly venturing into the less obvious while still finding its muscle. The music has the quality of an unadulterated message from below the surface, unafraid and adventurous. It’s intimate but also punchy, with a lot of pulse.
