The internationally acclaimed American jazz trombonist Jiggs Whigham meets the two young, talented Danish musicians, guitarist Pelle von Bülow and bassist Matthias Petri on his new album Jiggs’ Back In Town.

Jiggs’ Back In Town is the result of two days in the studio in October 2021, where the American trombone sensation visited Copenhagen as the guest of fellow trombonist Anders Jacobsen. On the album, JW shows that he masters all the elements a trombone player could dream about. Excellent sound, brilliant technique and his very own tonal language. In combination with Pelle von Bülow’s melodious sound and Matthias Petri’s subtle rhythmic precision, the three musicians make up for a charming and accomplished trio.
