This unique record was made at the world-famous Abbey Road Studios during the winter lockdown of 2021 with the tracks originally laid-down for a filmed show hosted by the South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival in March of that year.

Its genesis starts back in 2016 when the brilliant Huey Walker from Arts Council England brought the people from British Underground and Jazz refreshed together in a small room to explore big ideas in jazz and international music showcasing. The first gig was at SXSW in Austin, Texas in 2017 and included a history-making jam at the Main 2 venue on Red River between Shabaka Hutchings (Sax), Moses Boyd (Drums) and Theon Cross (Tuba).

The roof was literally blown off the joint and since then we've taken new UK jazz across the globe from New York to Rio de Janeiro and the scene has exploded. What a journey! - Crispin Parry
