MOON (Haewon Moon) is a Korean jazz diva Moon, who has released her first standard vocal album with the Tsuyoshi Yamamoto Trio on SACD. She made her debut as a vocalist of WINTERPLAY, a jazzy pop group from Korea. She started her solo career in 2016.

Her debut album "Kiss Me" (2018), released by Universal Music, made an impact in Japan, reaching No. 1 on the iTunes Jazz Chart and No. 1 on the Pop Chart in Hong Kong, beating out Ariana Grande's new album, which was released the same week. The latest release from this Asian diva is a collaboration with Tsuyoshi Yamamoto, one of Japan's most popular pianists, who has captivated audiophiles as well as jazz fans, and is also immensely popular in Asia.

Moon's clear and transparent voice rushes around on Tsuyoshi Yamamoto's strong touch, which is well known from swing to ballads.The selection includes Yamamoto's eponymous "Misty," the swinging "Twisted," the melodious ballad "In the Middle of a Kiss," and other classic songs. The album also includes Moon's original "Look to the Moon" (CD and SACD exclusive), for a total of 12 tracks. This album is a must-listen for listeners who love jazz vocal masterpieces.
