Harry Warren

Harry Warren (1893-1981) was a music composer of many different styles. Born Salvatore Guaragna in Brooklyn, New York, he is regarded as one of America's most prolific but least-known composers. Warren composed music with Ira Gershwin, Johnny Mercer, Billy Rose, and Al Dubin. His "Chattanooga Choo Choo" was awarded the first ever gold record. This collection pays homage to the compòsers works with 25 tracks performed by Ray Anthony, Ethel Ennis, Frank Sinatra & Count Basie Orchesrta, Peggy Lee, Chet Baker, Dinah Washington, Sonny Stitt and many more.
