We have an upfront & center seat for you to experience pianist Bill Evans with bassist Eddie Gomez & drumer Marty Morell Live at Art D'Lugoff's renowned upstairs club to The Village Gate, Top of The Gate. Resonance President George Klabin made these recordings when he was 22 years ol and the head of jazz programming at WKCR-FM at Columbia University in New York. On this fabled eening George had microphones positioned on each player & mixed the performances live providing incredible sound! For his radio shows, Klabin often recorded concerts for exclusive one-time broadcast. Thanks to the blessing & encouragement of Bill Evans & longtime manager Helen Keane , George was granted access to record 2 sets of music that night wich were aired one-time on his show and have sat in the vault until now.
