Presented on this release are two of Mouskouri's early albums: What Now My Love – Nana Mouskouri in New York [issued in USA as The Girl from Greece Sings] (Fontana MGF 27504), produced by Quincy Jones, on which she sings in English, and Nana Mouskouri (Fontana 660 274 MR), which finds her singing in French. The latter includes “Roses blanches de Courfou”, a French version of her aforementioned hit “The White Rose of Athens”, of which the English version has been added as a bonus.
