Possessing one of the most elegant baritone voices in the annals of soul music, the legendary Chuck Jackson made some of the most memorable R&B hits ever arranged. His 1962 chart-­stopping signature song, Any Day Now, is one of the most recognizable crossover tunes in popular music and has been covered by countless artists. Chuck’s versatile background allowed him to vocalize in different styles, ranging from R&B and pop to gospel and blues. His seductive rasp was emblematic of his inimitable sound.

This quintessential rlease includes two Jackson's finest albums, Any Day Now, and Encore! Both soul masterpieces were originally issued in the early Sixties by the Wand label (a subsidiary of Scepter Records), and have been remastered and packaged together in this very special collector’s edition, which also contains 4 bonus tracks from the same period.
