This quintessential release includes Domino’s superb LP, A Lot of Dominos! (originally issued by the Imperial label in 1960), which has been long unavailable on vinyl. The album is another “Fats” achievement from his most inspired years, and it is a terrifically entertaining listen. It provides a glimpse of Fats Domino mixing pop, country and honky-tonk arrangements into his New Orleans R&B gumbo.

In addition to the original album, this Vinyl Lovers collector’s LP also includes 2 bonus tracks from the same period: the staple “It’s You I Love,” and the great rocking hit “Be My Guest.” Fats’ music is just as enjoyable today as when it was recorded. Its happy simplicity and its indomitable beat never gets old.
