This quintessential collector’s edition includes The Shirelles’ third LP, Baby It’s You, originally released by Scepter Records in 1962, and long unavailable on vinyl. It's one of the group's finest albums, featuring such important hits as "Bay It's You" (which The Beatles also recorded for their first album) and "Soldier Boy" as well as great tunes like “Big John” (which just missed becoming a Top 20 single). "A Thing of the Past", the Gerry Goffin-Carole King composition "Make the Night a Little Longer,” “Putty in Your Hands” (later covered by The Yardbirds), and such outstanding lesser-­known cuts as “Things I Want to Hear,” “The Same Old Story” and “The Voice of Experience”.

In addition to this sensational LP, we have included 2 bonus tracks from the same period. "Ooh Poo Pah Doo" and the funny "Mama, Here Comes the Bride"
