Steve LaSpina

Bassist Steve LaSpina has been contributing his phenomenal musicianship both as performer and composer to this label since the late 90s. Since his debut album New Horizon SteepleChase has been LaSpina’s main outlet for his marvelous compositions. This is his 12th leader album, which explores some of his old tunes as well as new works, giving us a rare opportunity of experiencing how original compositions in jazz develop after decades of live performance on stage.
