In 1965 the legendary Clarke-Boland band played a benefit concert at Rolandseck station to raise money to turn the venue into a centre for the arts. Master of ceremonies was Marcel Marceau. Featuring Sahib Shihab on flute and Fats Sadi on bongoes, marimba and vibraphone.
