Dimma: A Tribute to Jan Johansson is both an nontraditional and familiar interpretation of Jan Johansson’s beautiful and versatile musical universe by the vocal Ensemble Edge (on their debut album), in collaboration with a quartet of some of Denmark’s finest, young Jazz musicians.

Jazz Pa Svenska is one of the most beloved and legendary Nordic Jazz releases. Since the album was released in 1964, several musicians have engaged in and interpreted the distinctive, simple and melancholic tone that characterizes Scandinavia’s biggest Jazz icon, the pianist Jan Johansson.

If it hadn’t been for a tragic traffic accident in 1968, Jan Johansson would have turned 90 on the 16th September 2021 - and maybe he even would have lived to experience how big an influence his music still has today
