TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

The music in this CD comes from no-professional privates tapes and its technical sound quality its no up to today's standarts. However, it is released because of the impotance of the musicians involved and of its high musical and historical value. Every effort has been made to improve the sound qualilty through advanced restoration technologies.

Thought to have been Clifford’s last recorded performance, this long unavailable jam session at Music City, in Philadelphia, is now known to be from 1955. It is complemented here by two interesting previously unissued live sets by the Brown- Roach quintet, as well as a rare Clifford Brown interview, which is transcribed in its entirety in the liner notes for this edition.
