The latest leader album of Ole Mattisen, a jazz pianist who is also active as a Danish jazz legend, composer, bandleader, and producer!

Danish jazz pianist Ole Matthiessen was born on July 14, 1946. Busy as a composer, bandleader and producer, he turned 75 in 2021. The new "Social Distancing Blues" was recorded in August 2021 at "The Village Studio" in Copenhagen, looking after the COVID-19 pandemic "musical life has fallen asleep".

Mattiesen performed 13 songs rooted in Danish singing tradition and jazz over the past 55 years with seven "soulmates" who are active in the Danish jazz scene.
