" I have good memories of playing this solo concert at Vienna's Café Wortner. I remember Café Wortner was located near the Mozartsaal (Konzert-haus Wien) where I had first played in 1977 - and again most recently in 2020, right before the pandemic started.

I remember that the piano was excellent, that the audience was warm and receptive and I was feeling comfortable to play, to "do my thing" in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Vienna. Hope you enjoy these interpretations as much as I enjoyed playing them that special night in 1984. " - Monty Alexander, August 2021
