São Paulo-based carnival collective and brass band who combine retro horns with cumbia, baile funk, jazz and more and feature Brazilian vocals legends such as Lucas Santtana, Tulipa amd Jucara Marcal

Their debut worldwide release is a compilation of their signature songs and 2 new exclusives inc. a cover of Michael Jackson’s "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough”.

Led by Thiago França - best known as a founding member of Afro-punk explorers Metá Metá - he is one of São Paulo’s most in-demand horn players with credits on albums by Criolo, Elza Soares, Céu and Lucas Santtana

Formed in 2013, A Espetacular Charanga do França are São Paulo’s most hyped carnival group regularly drawing crowds of up to 15,000 people - in 2020 the group performed at carnival with 60 brass players and 30 percussionists!
