Percussionist Roy Porter, a figure who had worked with jazz icons such as Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker in their respective primes, formed his own band titled the Roy Porter Sound Machine in the late Sixties and released a brace of sublime jazz-funk albums. ‘Inner Feelings’, released in 1975, was the second of those.
