John Zorn

Featuring vocalist extraordinaire Mike Patton, organ virtuoso John Medeski, bass wizard Trevor Dunn and drum master Joey Baron, the Moonchild project was an all-star group that combined heavy rock with jazz improvisation and classical compositional complexity.

The climax of their eight years together (2006-2014) was their final recording The Last Judgment, now presented on vinyl for the very first time. The music is intense, dramatic and lyrical, with plenty of melodic hooks, harmonic twists and textural insanity. Patton sings, howls, screams and intones with the passion and power of a man possessed!
