4 Cuts Placed In A First Quarter is a 1973 album from saxophonist Dickie Landry, and came about as a collaboration with visual artist Lawrence Weiner. The four pieces contain a solo piece by Landry and another by contra-bassist Rusty Gilder, a tenor sax duo between Landry and Richard Peck, and an ensemble piece for him, Gilder, Peck and drummer David Lee and trumpeter Robert Prado
