Plus, as bonus tracks, the quintet's first live session, recorded at The Strollers club only a few weeks after its formation, and a sensational drum solo performed by Hamilton during a concert at the Stockton High School with Gerry Mulligan's Quartet featuring Jon Eardley on trumpet and Red Mitchell on bass.

All tracks recorded in Long Beach and Stockon, Los Angeles, between 1954 and 1956.
