J.A.P.T. All Stars, The

This release presents for the first time ever on CD a complete 1955 performances by the JATP All Stars featuring Ben Webster, Lester Young, Dizz Gillespie, Roy Eldridge and Sonny Stitt among others. This concert only previously appeared divided on three long out of print LPs.

As a bonus we have added a rare set by a similar JATP group in Germany that same year, and Four Previously Unissued tunes from 1949 Carnegie Hall JAPT concert featuring Fats Navarro, Sonny Criss and Ella Fitzgerald.
