Stan Getz

This release contains Stan Getz’ complete Roost studio sessions (including both master and alternate takes), all of which feature the brilliant tenor saxophonist in quartet or quintet formats. Getz is the only featured horn throughout, as these are quintets with guitar. Also present are various renowned jazz figures like Jimmy Raney, Al Haig, Horace Silver and Roy Haynes. Two more complete dates from the same period, also presenting Getz as the only horn in the company of Jimmy Raney, have been added as a bonus.
