Miles Davis

Miles Davis' association with John Coltrane between 1955 and 1961 produced some of the most wonderful recordings in jazz history. This set compiles all of the studio master takes from their collective discography, as well as four live performances included here as a bonus for comparison with studio versions.

Contained here are the complete contents of their collaborative Prestige sessions (originally issued on the albums "Workin'", "Steamin'", "Relaxin'", "Cookin'" and "Miles- The New Miles Davis Quintet"), as weel as the material from the Columbia Lps " 'Round About Midnight", "Milestone" and the immortal "Kind of Blue", plus theri tracks together from the albums "Jazz Track", "Legrand Jazz", and "Someday My Prince Will Come".
