"Little Girl Blue" (aka My Baby Just Cares for Me, Bethlehem SBCP6028) was Nina Simone's first album and first recording ever. Made when she was 25 years old, it was a big success and lead to a tremendous career which would produce more than 80 studio sessions. We have coupled this complete LP with some tracks taped live by Simone in 1959 and 1960, most of which feature the exact same personnel.
